Fantastic Stay in Victor Harbor
I was pleasantly surprised to find that their café offered a brand new menu featuring hearty soups, grilled seafood, and wood-fired pizzas, catering to all tastes. After a long day of exploring, sitting down for a meal here greatly enhanced my experience!
One minor drawback was the noise from the nearby traffic, which occasionally interrupted the peaceful ambiance in the hotel.

I recently visited the Anchorage and found it to be a good experience. The atmosphere was vibrant, especially during the themed international day, which brought a fun twist to the menu. I enjoyed the crumbed prawns while my husband opted for the German sausage soup. The food was freshly prepared, and the service was swift, making our meal enjoyable.
Noisy rooms 🥱, poor ambiance, and dirty mugs.

we had a comfortable stay at the anchorage with an elegant spa suite that featured a lovely view from the balcony. the old-world charm of the hotel added to our experience, with antique furnishings and high ceilings giving a relaxing atmosphere. the staff were friendly and accommodating, even providing us complimentary meals due to some minor issues we faced with the wifi. overall, this hotel blends character with charm nicely.
All good, but could use improvement! 😅.

The building itself is rich in character, and I appreciated the comfy beds and the heater in the room. The staff was also very accommodating, serving us lunch even when we arrived late.
The restaurant was more of a café ☹️.

The old "pub style" room with a single bed and shared bathroom was cozy and nostalgic. As a vegetarian/vegan, I felt the rustic charm added to the overall experience and made me appreciate the simplicity of the room.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom across the hall to be a minor inconvenience. However, I understand others may still enjoy the charm of this arrangement.

Having a private balcony was a nice surprise! We tried out the Wood Rustic Roastery nearby, only a short 900 feet walk. Definitely planning on coming back here next time we're around. 🌟
